**Study Summary**
Mechanical ventilation is a machine that helps people breathe when they can't do it on their own. While it saves lives, it can sometimes hurt the lungs, causing something called ventilator-induced lung injury (VILI). This study looks at how a special type of anesthesia called a bilateral rectus sheath and OSTAP block affects the energy, or mechanical power (MP), the ventilator gives to the lungs. This is important for protecting the lungs, especially after Covid-19, which can make breathing problems worse, such as ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome).
**Key Points:**
- **Study Duration & Visits**: Participants will be monitored during their surgery and possibly afterwards to measure the effects.
- **Eligibility**: You must be 18-65 years old, in good health (ASA 1-2), and having a planned laparoscopic gallbladder surgery.
- **Risks/Compensation**: Discuss potential risks or benefits with the medical team. Participation is voluntary, and you must meet all criteria.
Please consider these points and consult with your doctor to see if participating in this study is right for you.
