This study looks at how four implants hold dentures in place for people with type 2 diabetes. **Implants** are small devices that go into your jawbone to support dentures. **Type 2 diabetes** can cause high blood sugar, which might affect the gums and bone around teeth and implants. The study wants to see how well these implants work over a long time in people with high sugar levels.
To join the study, you should have no teeth in your upper or lower jaw for at least a year and struggle with denture fitting. Your lower jaw bone should be between 15-25 mm thick in a specific area. You cannot join if you haven't received implants at the clinic, have more or less than four implants, or have well-controlled diabetes. Also, if you smoke a lot, drink heavily, or have certain medical conditions, you may not qualify.
