This study is about the Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) and its link to cancer risks in Southern China. EBV is a virus that can be found in the body and is known to cause certain cancers. Researchers want to find out if EBV is linked to other types of cancer too. People living in Zhongshan or Wuzhou City without cancer and other serious diseases can join. Participants will have their blood tested for EBV antibodies, which are proteins the body makes to fight EBV. They will be checked every year to see if they get cancer and other health updates. This study will help us understand more about how EBV might cause different kinds of cancer.
- Duration: Follow-up is conducted annually.
- Eligibility: Residents of Zhongshan or Wuzhou City without a history of cancer or severe diseases.
- Purpose: To find out if EBV is linked to more cancer types and its impact in Southern China.
