Phase N/A

COVID-19 is a virus that can cause serious illness. Even after recovery, some people experience ongoing problems like trouble thinking, feeling sad, or worried. This study wants to understand these neurocognitive (brain and thinking) effects. We use special tests and machines like EEG (Electroencephalogram, which records brain waves) and MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging, which takes pictures of the brain) to study people who had COVID-19. We also look at plasma (the liquid part of blood) to find signs of brain damage.

  • You will need to visit our lab in San Francisco.
  • The study involves an MRI, so you must not have metal in your body or tattoos on your head or neck.
  • You must have had COVID-19 at least 3 months ago and be between 18-70 years old.
