Female
Phase N/A

Migraines are intense headaches often accompanied by symptoms like neck pain, nausea, and sensitivity to light. This study explores using Kinesio taping on the neck to reduce migraine symptoms. Kinesio taping is a method where elastic tape is applied to the skin, believed to increase blood flow and reduce pain by relaxing muscles. The study focuses on people with cervical myofascial pain (pain in the neck muscles), a common issue in migraine sufferers. To participate, you must have had migraines for at least a year, be between 18-65 years old, and have a neck muscle pain area that matches the migraine pain area. You cannot join if you've had recent neck injuries or surgeries, certain medical conditions, or are pregnant.

  • Participation requires a prior migraine diagnosis and treatment.
  • Study involves physical exams and Kinesio taping sessions.
  • Participants need to be within the age range of 18-65 years.
