Physician Reasoning on Management Cases With Large Language Models

Recruiting

Phase N/A

This study explores how doctors make decisions using AI, specifically a tool called GPT-4. GPT-4 is a type of artificial intelligence that can understand and produce human-like text. It's not specifically made for medical use, but it might help doctors with their clinical reasoning, which is how they decide the best way to treat patients. The study will compare how well doctors perform on medical cases with and without GPT-4. Doctors will explain their thought process, and their answers will be reviewed by experts. This study aims to see if GPT-4 can assist doctors without causing any harm.

  • Only licensed doctors who have finished at least two years of post-graduate training can join.
  • Doctors need to have training in internal, family, or emergency medicine.
  • Doctors not currently working with patients cannot participate.
