Phase N/A

Tissue Flossing is a technique where a stretchy band is wrapped tightly around a joint, like the knee, to help improve movement. In this study, researchers want to see if tissue flossing helps the knee bend better right away. Knee flexion range of motion refers to how much you can bend your knee. A goniometer is a tool used to measure this bending angle.

First, 58 healthy people aged 18-35 will be divided into two groups of 29 each. One group will try tissue flossing, while the other won't. Both groups will have their knee flexion tested before and after the intervention to see any changes.

  • The study requires one assessment visit.
  • Participants must be healthy and 18-35 years old.
  • People with certain health issues cannot join.

This study helps researchers understand if tissue flossing could be a useful therapy for improving knee movement. Interested participants should ensure they meet all health criteria to take part.

FAQs

Learn more about clinical trials

What is a clinical trial?

A clinical trial is a study designed to test specific interventions or treatments' effectiveness and safety, paving the way for new, innovative healthcare solutions.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?

Compensation varies per trial. Some offer payment or reimbursement for time and travel, while others may not.

How safe are clinical trials?

Clinical trials follow strict ethical guidelines and protocols to safeguard participants' health. They are closely monitored and safety reviewed regularly.
