The research uses a tool called the Spiritual Needs Questionnaire to understand what patients need spiritually and then provides special help based on those needs. The study takes place at Muenster University Hospital in Germany, and it will look at data from the past and collect new data to see if this approach helps patients and if the hospital staff can keep doing it over time.
