Phase N/A

In this study, researchers want to see if giving massages and foot reflexology (a special kind of foot massage) to premature babies can help them sleep better. Babies born too early often face challenges because their bodies are not fully ready for the outside world. They may experience stress and have trouble sleeping, which is important for their growth and brain development. This study will include 105 premature babies in a hospital's neonatal intensive care unit. The babies will be divided into three groups: one group will receive massages, another will get foot reflexology, and a third group will receive normal care. The massage and foot reflexology will be done for 15 minutes, twice a day, for 2 days. Their sleep will be measured using a special device. This study will help us understand if these methods can improve sleep quality in preterm babies.

  • Duration: 2 days of treatment.
  • Participants: 105 preterm newborns.
  • Activities: Massages and foot reflexology.

Participating babies must be stable, born between 30-37 weeks, and have no major health issues. Babies with certain problems, like foot anomalies or needing heavy medical help, can't join.
