Study Summary

This study looks at how certain blood markers relate to a condition called GVHD, which can occur after a stem cell transplant for AML (a type of blood cancer). They are studying special markers in the blood, like **Gasdermin-D** and **NLRP-3**, which are substances that may indicate cell damage or inflammation. The study tracks these markers before and after the transplant to see if they can help predict GVHD and other issues. The aim is to better understand how these markers work and if they can help doctors predict and treat GVHD more effectively. The research will last about two years and involves checking blood samples at different times after the transplant.

  • Study length: 2 years with multiple check-ups.
  • Participants must be 18 or older with AML.
  • Conducted at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.
