Community Support Program for Lung Cancer Screening Study

This study is about helping people attend lung cancer check-ups. Lung cancer screening (LCS) uses a special X-ray called a low dose CT (LDCT) scan to look for signs of cancer in the lungs. The study is focused on people living in West Philadelphia.

A Community Support Program (CSP) Representative will call those who are eligible and a Patient Navigator will help them with travel and appointments. They will even provide free rides using Lyft to the hospital if needed. The goal is to see how well this support helps people keep their appointments.

  • The study is for West Philadelphia residents aged 18-89 with a scheduled or missed LDCT appointment.
  • It offers assistance with travel to encourage people to attend their follow-up appointments.
  • Participants can get free rides to the hospital for their lung check-up.

By joining this study, you can receive help with attending your important lung screenings. This is important for your health and can make sure you get the care you need.
