Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects many women of childbearing age. It involves problems with the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian (HPO) axis, which controls hormone levels affecting the ovaries. Issues like insulin resistance (when the body doesn't respond well to insulin) and problems with kisspeptins (proteins affecting hormone release) can worsen PCOS. An unhealthy diet and eating at the wrong times can also upset gut bacteria balance, leading to PCOS symptoms. This study wants to see if Time-restricted Eating (TRE), which means eating within an 8-hour period and fasting for 16 hours, can help women with PCOS by improving gut health and hormone levels. Researchers will recruit 52 women, aged 18-40, to participate in this 12-week study with regular check-ups every month. Participants will be divided into two groups; one will follow their usual diet within a time-restricted window, while the other will follow standard dietary recommendations. The study will involve blood tests, stool samples, and questionnaires to track progress.
