Phase N/A

Virtual Reality (VR) is a technology that uses special equipment to let you explore a computer-made world. It's like wearing a helmet that shows you a different place! This study looks at two ways people move in VR: using a hand controller (HC) or by pretending to walk in place (WIP). 🚶‍♂️ The researchers want to see which method is better for balance and causes less nausea or dizziness (called cybersickness). If you’re between 18-30 years old and healthy, you can join this study at Yeditepe University. You’ll play a game called "Freedom Locomotion VR" twice, using both movement styles. Your balance, heart rate, and any feelings of dizziness will be checked each time. The study started in November 2023 and runs until February 2024. If you're interested, you'll answer some questions about yourself first.

  • Study Duration: November 2023 - February 2024
  • Involves playing a VR game in two sessions
  • Participants must be healthy young adults aged 18-30
