Multimodal Physiotherapy Based on Tele-rehabilitation in Chronic Pelvic Pain Associated With Endometriosis

Recruiting

Female
Phase N/A

Multimodal Physiotherapy Study aims to see if a special tele-rehabilitation program can help with chronic pelvic pain due to endometriosis. Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside it, causing pain. The study uses online sessions for pain education and therapeutic exercises. It will also teach respiratory control to help manage pain. Participants will answer questions about their pain, fear of movement, and overall quality of life before starting the program and up to 6 months after. There are two groups: one will do the exercises and education online, and the other will receive information to help them live healthier. The study needs 66 women with endometriosis who are between 18 and 55 years old and have had pelvic pain for at least 3 months. They must have access to an electronic device and email. It does not include women who are pregnant, menopausal, or have certain other medical conditions.

  • Study lasts 6 months with 4 follow-up questionnaires.
  • Participants do 16 exercise and 4 education sessions online.
  • Must have internet access and be able to understand instructions.
