Phase N/A

This study is about creating a Computer-aided System to help doctors better understand different types of colorectal ulcerative diseases (like colorectal cancer, Crohn's disease, etc.). Colorectal means "related to the colon or large intestine." This system uses artificial intelligence (AI) to look at pictures and videos taken during a colonoscopy (a test to see inside your colon) to help doctors diagnose these diseases more accurately.

The study is being done by looking back at past colonoscopy data. It involves two main steps: training the AI system with a lot of data and then testing to see how well it works. The study is safe because all personal information will be kept private.

  • This is an observational study, so participants won't receive any treatment.
  • Only past colonoscopy data is used, so no new tests or visits are needed.
  • All information is confidential and won't be shared with others.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?

Compensation varies per trial. Some offer payment or reimbursement for time and travel, while others may not.
