Phase N/A

This study uses smart devices like smartphones and smartwatches to check how Parkinson's affects quality of life. The study lasts about 9 months and takes place in Belgium. It will involve people with different stages of Parkinson's and some healthy individuals for comparison.

**Parkinson's disease (PD)** is a brain disorder that leads to shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with walking, balance, and coordination. The **H&Y scale** measures the severity of PD from 1 (mild) to 5 (severe). **PROMs** are questionnaires that help understand how a patient feels about their health. **Q-index** is a score developed using device data to understand the quality of life.

  • Participants need an Android smartphone and must install the Koios Care app.
  • Visits include a start check-up, and checks at 4 and 8 months.
  • Participants must be 30-75 years old and speak French/Dutch.

This study helps to create technology that makes it easier to monitor Parkinson's symptoms from home. Participants agree to let the study track movements and activities using their devices.
