This study uses *smartphones* and *smartwatches* to understand how Parkinson's disease affects people's daily lives. Parkinson's disease is a condition that affects movement and can cause shaking, stiffness, and balance problems. The study, happening in Belgium, will last about 9 months and involves three check-ins: at the start, after 4 months, and after 8 months. Participants will wear a smartwatch and use a smartphone app, which will collect data on their activities like eating and sleeping to create a *Quality-of-Life Index* (Q-Index). The study aims to see if this index can accurately reflect how well participants are doing. Key Points:

  • Study duration is 9 months with 3 check-ins.
  • Participants will use a smartwatch and smartphone app.
  • Data helps create a Quality-of-Life Index to understand daily life impacts.
To join, you must be 30-75 years old, own an Android smartphone, and be diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. You must also speak French or Dutch. If you have certain health issues like dementia or severe depression, you cannot participate. This study will help doctors understand what's important in the lives of people with Parkinson's. 📱⌚
