🌿 **Hemp Fiber Study for Gut Health** 🏃

Researchers want to see if eating hemp fiber bars can help protect our gut during exercise. These bars contain special compounds thought to be good for the gut. In this study, cyclists will eat the bars for two weeks and then do a tough bike ride in the lab. The goal is to check if the bars help keep the gut strong, using blood and urine tests to find clues. 🩸💧

**Key Points:**

  • 🏋️‍♂️ **Participation:** Cyclists will undergo 9 lab visits over 10 weeks, including cycling sessions lasting 2.25 hours.
  • 💊 **Supplements:** Participants will consume hemp fiber bars or a placebo (fake bar) for two weeks, with a break in between.
  • 💰 **Compensation & Risks:** The study provides no mention of compensation, so participants should contact the study team for details. Risks include discomfort from intense exercise and blood draws.

Participants must be healthy adults, 18-65 years old, and able to cycle at a high intensity. 🚴‍♀️ They should avoid certain foods and medications before the tests and maintain their usual exercise routine during the study. 🚫🧄

If you're a cyclist interested in gut health, this study might be for you! 😊
