Parkinson's disease is a condition that affects movement. This study is exploring a new way to program a treatment called Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), where tiny electric signals are sent to the brain to help control symptoms. The study will compare the usual programming method with a new one called StimSearch to see which works better and faster.
Participants will have had DBS before and will try both the usual and new programming. They will be checked for how well each method works in improving movement and how long it takes. To join, you need to have Parkinson's, show a certain level of symptoms, and improve with a specific medicine before surgery. You must also understand the study and agree to take part. However, if you have serious mental health issues, you can't join.
