Endometrial cancer (**EC**) is a common type of cancer that affects the uterus. Researchers are studying EC in Mexican patients to understand more about its prognosis, or how the disease will progress. They will use a technique called next-generation sequencing (**NGS**) to study genetic changes in the cancer. This includes looking for changes in specific genes like TP53 and POLE, and checking for **microsatellite instability**, which is when certain parts of DNA have errors. They will also use a lab test called immunohistochemistry (**IHC**) to study these changes. This study is important because it may help doctors give personalized treatments to patients based on their unique cancer characteristics.
