Phase N/A

This study looks at how often adults in Hong Kong might be addicted to the internet and how it affects their mental health. Internet addiction means needing to use the internet all the time and feeling upset if you can't. Participants will answer questions about their internet use, feelings like sadness or worry (depression and anxiety), how well they sleep, and how they feel about their life (QOL). The study is important because the COVID pandemic and new technology, like the Metaverse, might change how people use the internet in Hong Kong.

  • Adults aged 18-40 and living in Hong Kong can join.
  • Participants need to speak Cantonese and write Chinese.
  • People with known thinking or communication problems can't join.

Joining this study can help understand internet use and its impacts better. 😊
