Acceptability and Tolerance Study of a Plant-based Tube Feed

Study on how well patients accept and tolerate plant-based tube feed.

Study Purpose: This study will test how well adults tolerate and stick to a special plant-based formula given through a tube. It will last for 7 days.

Who Can Join: Adults (16 years and older) who need a plant-based formula through a tube for at least half of their daily energy needs. They should already be doing well on their current tube feed and must agree to participate willingly.

Who Cannot Join: Anyone under 16, people with severe kidney or liver issues, those using other medical nutrition methods, or with specific allergies (like milk or peanuts) cannot participate. Also, people in another study recently, or with certain stomach problems, cannot join.

  • The study will last for 7 days.
  • Participants must use a plant-based formula for tube feeding.
  • Participants need to be stable on their current feeding method.
