Phase N/A

Adhesive Capsulitis is a painful condition where the shoulder becomes stiff, making movement difficult. This study explores if virtual reality (VR) exercises can help reduce pain and improve movement better than regular physical therapy. VR is a computer program that creates a 3D world for exercises, making them more engaging. Volunteers aged 18-65 with adhesive capsulitis will be placed in one of three groups: VR exercises, regular therapy, or home exercises only. Each participant will do exercises five days a week for three weeks. This research aims to find a faster, more enjoyable way to treat adhesive capsulitis. Regular check-ins with a physiotherapist ensure safety and effectiveness. Home exercises will involve simple movements like pendulum swings and arm stretches, shown through an exercise sheet. Participation is voluntary, and those interested should be free from recent surgeries, injuries, or infections.

  • Study Duration: 3 weeks
  • Participants: 75 people, divided into 3 groups
  • Treatment: VR or traditional exercises, or home exercises only
