Phase N/A

Hemodialysis (HD) is a treatment for kidney failure that uses a machine to filter blood. This study looks at how a special kind of help called a dyadic psychoeducational intervention can make life better for people on maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) and their main caregivers. The double ABC-X model is a theory that helps understand how people cope with stress, and it's used to guide this study. Researchers want to find out if this type of support can help people feel better and less stressed.

  • Participants need to be over 18, both patients and caregivers, and willing to join the study.
  • Patients must have been on hemodialysis for at least 3 months.
  • The study is not for those with serious mental health issues or those unable to communicate well.
