Intensive Neurowave Emotional Stimulation (INES) Study is looking at how special neurological wave treatments can help people with severe brain injuries. These injuries have left them in states called Vegetative State (VS) or Minimally Conscious State (MCS). The study will be conducted at Piedmont Hospital in Messina for 18 months. Participants will be adults aged 18 to 65, and at least 20 people will be part of the study. The study will have two groups: one group will get the INES treatment, which involves 45-minute sessions, five days a week for four weeks. The other group will have regular multisensory treatment. Both groups will be checked using special tests to see how their brain and movement functions improve. The study seeks to find out if INES can help in recovery and how it compares to traditional methods.
- The study lasts for 18 months.
- Participants must be 18-65 years old with medical consent from a legal guardian.
