This study tests neurofeedback training, which uses brain signals to help people control stress and improve mindfulness. It involves 10 sessions over 5 weeks. Participants will be split into two groups: one will receive real neurofeedback training, and the other will receive a fake (sham) version. During sessions, participants listen to sounds that help guide their meditation. We measure mental health with questionnaires, brain scans, and stress tests using cold water and video recording. Participants will also wear a heart monitor for 24 hours after each test and answer questions about their stress on their phone. To join, you must speak Dutch, consent, and feel stressed but not be on certain medications or have recent meditation experience.
