Zuranolone Pharmacokinetics (PK) and Safety Study Adolescent Participants With Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

Recruiting
12-17 years
Female
Phase 1

Study Summary: This study is exploring how a medicine called Zuranolone works in the body and its safety for teenagers aged 12-17 with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). MDD is a serious mood condition causing persistent sadness. Pharmacokinetics (PK) is the study of how the body absorbs and processes a drug. To join, participants must meet specific criteria, like having a high depression score and being able to attend all visits with a parent or caregiver. Unfortunately, teens with other serious mental health conditions or a history of substance misuse cannot participate.

  • Commitment: Participants will need to attend multiple study visits.
  • Safety: The study will check how Zuranolone affects the body.
  • Eligibility: Only certain adolescents with MDD can join.

Participants will help researchers understand if Zuranolone is safe and how it works in young people with depression. 🤝
