To Improve Depressive Symptoms Using a Web-App

Recruiting
40-60 years
Female
Phase N/A

This study is exploring if a web app can help improve feelings of sadness or depression in midlife Korean American women. A web app is a program you use on the internet through your computer or phone. The program, called WPAPP-K, encourages women to be more active to help with feelings of depression, especially during menopause. Menopause is when women stop having periods and can feel emotional changes. The study focuses on women aged 40 to 60, who are Korean American and live in the US. Participants should be able to use a computer or phone and have felt sad or depressed recently.

  • Participants should be able to read and write in English or Korean.
  • Women with certain health issues, like heart problems or diabetes, cannot join.
  • The study aims to see if the app really helps in making them feel better.

This study could be a good fit for Korean American women who want to try a new way of feeling better through increased physical activity, and they must be comfortable using technology to participate. 🌟
