Phase 1

This study is to see if a medicine called **tirzepatide** (LY3298176) is safe for kids who are overweight. The study will check how their bodies handle the medicine by doing blood tests. Each child will be in the study for about **13 weeks**, not counting the time it takes to see if they can join in. To be part of the study, kids need to have a high **Body Mass Index (BMI)**, which means their weight is more than most kids their age. Girls must not have started puberty yet. Kids cannot join if their weight has changed a lot in the past 90 days, or if they have other health issues like **pancreatitis** (which is swelling of the pancreas) or **diabetes** (a condition that affects blood sugar).

  • Study lasts about 13 weeks.
  • Blood tests will be done throughout the study.
  • Participants must have high BMI and meet other criteria.
