The POWER Study is a project focused on understanding and managing weight issues in children and teens. We're collecting information from kids and teens who are overweight or obese and have already had a medical check-up in a special weight program before. This study runs from March 1, 2014, to October 31, 2020. All your personal details will be kept private. We use a safe computer system, called Medidata Rave® CDMS, to store the information, handled by the Cincinnati Children's Hospital (CCHMC). No identifying information will be shared to ensure your privacy.

  • Participation involves routine medical check-ups or group sessions.
  • No personal identification will be shared; your privacy is protected.
  • Eligible participants include those 18 or younger who are overweight or obese.

Joining this study might help doctors learn more about helping kids and teens with weight issues. It's important to know that there's no direct payment for joining, but your participation could help other children in the future. 🏥📊
