The **Pediatric Obesity Weight Evaluation Registry (POWER) Study** is a research project focused on gathering information about children and teens who are overweight or obese. This study includes kids 18 years or younger who began a medical check-up between March 1, 2014, and April 30, 2020, as part of weight management programs across the U.S. The data will be collected until October 31, 2020, during regular health visits.

Your personal information will be **kept private**—all names and identifiable details will be removed. The data will be stored securely in a database called Medidata Rave® CDMS, which is managed by the Data Coordinating Center (DCC) at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. The DCC will make sure the data is clean and ready for analysis. The information will be safely stored, without any personal health details.
