A Study to Compare the Efficacy, Safety and Tolerability of FF/UMEC/VI With FF/VI in 12-17-year-olds With Asthma

Recruiting
12-17 years
Both
Phase 3

This study compares two treatments for asthma in kids aged 12-17. Asthma makes it hard to breathe because the airways in the lungs get swollen or narrow. This study checks how well a medicine called **Fluticasone Furoate** (FF)/**Umeclidinium** (UMEC)/ **Vilanterol** (VI) works compared to just FF/VI. Participants will try one medicine for 24 weeks, and doctors will see how their lungs react. To join, you must be between 12-17 years old with asthma for at least a year. You also need to be taking certain asthma medicines already. Some people can't join if they've had pneumonia recently or smoke.

  • **Duration:** Up to 6 months
  • **Visits:** Regular check-ups required
  • **Risks:** Potential changes in asthma symptoms

Kids with other lung diseases or who smoke are not eligible. This study helps find better ways to manage asthma in teens. 🫁
