Phase N/A

This study looks at how strength and speed affect how well athletes in wheelchair sports like rugby and basketball perform. Researchers want to see how grip position and strength relate to speed and quickness. Participants will pull and push in their sports wheelchair against a device that measures force and will also perform quick sprints. The study will compare how basketball and rugby players differ in these activities.

  • The study lasts about 2 hours, including a warm-up and testing.
  • Participants will follow different tests to measure strength and speed.
  • Only athletes practicing more than 3 hours a week can join, and pregnancy or illness will exclude participants.
