This study helps patients get access to special *cord blood units* (CBUs) which are not yet approved by the FDA. Cord blood, collected from umbilical cords, is used for treating serious blood disorders like cancer. Doctors want to see how well patients recover after using these CBUs in a multi-center setting. They will check if patients' *neutrophils* (a type of white blood cell) reach a safe level after treatment. They will also monitor for infections, severe reactions, survival rates, and problems like *graft vs. host disease (GVHD)*, where the new blood cells attack the patient’s body. Patients of any age with blood disorders can join if they agree to the terms. However, those already using licensed CBUs or participating in other similar studies cannot join.
- The study includes both children and adults.
- Participants must sign a consent form before starting.
- This study does not include international patients.
