Deep Marginal Acquisition with Thermacut Bur is a study looking at two ways to fix deep cavities. One way uses a Thermacut Bur, a special tool, and the other is called Functional Crown Lengthening, which involves removing some gum and bone to reach the cavity. This study is testing if the Thermacut Bur method can work well without needing surgery. Surgery can cause issues like pain, swelling, and bleeding, and can even harm the teeth roots.

To join the study, you must be at least 18 years old and have a deep cavity between your teeth. The study is not for people with certain medical conditions or those who struggle with oral hygiene.

  • The study compares two ways to treat deep cavities.
  • Participants must have good oral hygiene and be over 18.
  • Some medical conditions may exclude participation.
