Phase N/A

Taking care of someone with dementia can be really stressful and sometimes it affects how caregivers feel inside. This study wants to check if a new app, called UR Caregiver, can help caregivers handle stress better. The app uses cognitive behavioral principles, which means it helps change the way you think and act to feel better. Caregivers will be split into three groups: one using the app, a second doing another activity, and a third not using any app. They will use the app for 8 weeks and their stress and mental health will be checked before and after this period. The goal is to see if the app helps caregivers feel less stressed and healthier.

  • The study lasts for 8 weeks with assessments before and after.
  • You need a smartphone or tablet to use the app.
  • You can't be using another app for stress already.
