Creatine and Ubiquinol for Sperm Quality

Recruiting
18-35 years
Male
Phase N/A

This study looks at how creatine and ubiquinol, two nutrients, might help improve sperm quality. Creatine is a substance in the body that helps with energy, and ubiquinol is a form of Coenzyme Q10 that helps cells work better. The research lasts for 8 weeks and involves men aged 18 - 35. Some men will have normal sperm quality, while others may have oligospermia, meaning they have fewer sperm than usual. Participants must be healthy with a normal Body Mass Index (BMI), which is a measure of body fat based on height and weight. People with major health issues or those using dietary supplements recently cannot join.

  • Study duration: 8 weeks
  • Participants must give informed consent
  • Healthy men with normal BMI are eligible

This study is randomized (participants are randomly assigned to groups), controlled (compared against a standard group), and double-blind (neither participants nor researchers know who gets the supplements), ensuring accurate results. If you join, you'll help researchers understand if these nutrients can boost male fertility. 🧬💪
