**Improving Surgical Outcomes With Early PT After ACDF:** This study looks at when physical therapy (PT) should start after surgery called ACDF. ACDF stands for *Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion*, a surgery on the neck to treat problems with bones or discs in the spine. PT helps you get stronger and move better after surgery. In this study, some people will start PT early (within 3 months) and others later (after 3 months). Researchers want to see if starting PT early helps people recover better, feel less pain, and return to work faster. **Key Points:** - **Length & Visits:** The study lasts about 12 months, with follow-up visits at 3, 6, and 12 months after surgery. - **Participants:** 76 people will join, split into early or delayed PT groups. Each group will have 38 people. - **Eligibility:** You must be 18-75 years old and have ACDF for a degenerative neck problem. Certain conditions like recent neck surgery or severe mental health issues mean you can't join. This study aims to find the best time to start PT after ACDF to improve recovery.
